SAS at NIU
NIU's Student Accountancy Society (SAS) has long connected accountancy students with peers, alumni, and industry professionals. Through networking, mentorship, and leadership opportunities, SAS continues to help students grow professionally while preparing for careers in accounting.
Our Members
We currently have over 200 active members across all business students working towards building skills, connections, and confidence to launch a career.
SAS is open to all majors from any year. Our executive board includes officers from any year and majors as well
Active SAS Membership

During Fall 2026, students must attend at least five scheduled Professional Meetings to maintain active SAS membership status.

Attendance is highly encouraged for all Professional Meetings, the Networking Events, the Service Event, and the Career Development Event.

Attendance at Networking, Service, and Career Development Events cannot be substituted for attendance at Professional Meetings.
