I joined SAS because I wanted to help fellow students develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed professionally. Through SAS, I hope to help students strengthen their networking skills, build competitive resumes, and prepare to land internships and full-time opportunities. SAS has also helped me grow both personally and professionally, and I plan to carry those experiences forward as I work toward becoming a strong leader in the accounting and finance profession.

I joined SAS because I was drawn to the opportunities we provide for our students. As a transfer student who was new to the school, I wanted to be part of an organization that would open the door to new experiences and opportunities. SAS has exposed me to numerous firms, different areas of accounting, professional preparation, and valuable networking opportunities. I want other accounting students to have the same opportunity to gain knowledge, experience, and valuable insights directly from accounting professionals and firms.

I joined SAS to connect with other driven Huskies and get real exposure to the accounting world outside the classroom. Beyond the incredible networking and professional events, SAS gave me a community that truly supported my growth as a student and a professional. Being part of this organization and getting to give back on the executive board has played a huge role in building my confidence as I prepare for my future CPA career.

I joined SAS to be a part of an organization that cares about student development and helping students grow professionally. Being part of the Tech Committee allows me to use my skills to better the organization and the members who attend our meetings. I hope the work I provide to SAS helps students gain the professional development they're seeking, just as it did for me. I plan to leave SAS better than the way I found it, and I hope others will continue that work once my time is up.
